About me

My name is Boaventura Mesquita, though I am affectionately known as Ben Ventura. Originally from Portugal, I have proudly made Wales my home since 2004. Throughout my life, I have been deeply engaged in sports, first as a football player and later as a youth coach.

My journey into sports therapy and rehabilitation began as a result of my own experiences with injuries. In my quest for effective recovery methods, I discovered a profound passion for this field. To enhance my knowledge and skills, I pursued formal qualifications in sports therapy, studying at Bath University, Core Elements in Swindon, and Pembrokeshire College.

With a solid educational foundation, I gained valuable experience as the Head of Injury Rehabilitation at Haverfordwest County AFC, where I developed and implemented comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored for athletes. Currently, I run my own private practice on Spiderman Street in Carmarthen and also work in Narberth.

It is important to note that sports therapy is not solely beneficial for rehabilitation; it also plays a crucial role in maintenance and injury prevention. My aim is to provide individualized care that empowers clients not only to recover from injuries but also to enhance their overall physical health and performance.

I am dedicated to utilizing my expertise in sports therapy to support individuals in their journeys toward optimal well-being, ensuring they can enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle.
